The DIASET provides a stable measuring column and a solid base made out of mineral cast. These features guarantee high rigidity as well as excellent temperature resistance for repeatability and accuracy of measurements. Precision scales, solid guideways and a digital display (which includes new standard functions) are making the measuring process easier and offering maximum measuring capabilities at an affordable price. The DIASET is available with either integral ISO50 or ISO40 taper spindles and has reduction adapters available for other common interfaces (ISO, HSK, KM, Polygon, etc.)

The DIASET’s 2-axis indicator has an ultra-sensitive embedded mechanic carbide touch probe to detect the slightest measuring pressures. A large, digital display unit was designed to support the newest technical requirements of today’s manufacturers. TOOL ID CHIP While allowing for the reading & writing of tools equipped with an ID chip, tools can be automatically recognized and the measured data can be automatically written. This software allows for the reading of the code field from the chip in order to automatically select the tool from the system database. After the measurement/presetting of the cutting edge(s), it also allows for the writing of the actual measured data and possible nominal tool life information, as well as other data present within the Speroni. An off-line feature allows for the complete reading and writing of the chips by typing the desired values from your keyboard. These values will automatically be checked for congruence.
